ICICI Bank and IRCTC Offer

ICICI Bank has announced new offer wherein you will need to use the ICICI Bank Net Banking to transact at IRCTC to book your train tickets online to get free Zoomin Flipbook.

All you have to do is when you are booking train tickets at IRCTC just pay using ICICI Bank Netbanking and do so twice during the entire offer period and get yourself a free flipbook from Zoomin. Booking twice using ICICI Bank Net Banking can only get this free flipbook, else you will not be eligible. This Zoomin Flipbook or photo book is said to be worth Rs. 199 and you get it for free just for transacting to buy your train tickets online which in any case you are going to do, if you are planning for the same till May 10, 2010.

This offer is valid from February 10, 2010 to May 10, 2010. There will be a shipping and service charge of Rs. 35+ when you are getting the free photo book from Zoomin, though.

GoAir Students Offer

GoAir airlines has announced special discount for students who choose Go Air to travel. They have announced a flat discount of Rs. 500 on all one-way fares for all the students namely under graduates, graduates and post-graduate students. This discount can be availed only from the GoAir Call Center or Airport Ticket office of GoAir located at various airports in India. This offer is not valid for school students though.

The particular student will need to show their valid student ID in order to get this offer. The booking can be done till April 10, 2010. But the travel is valid till September 30, 2010. GoAir will give the discount of Rs. 500 immediately when you are booking the one way ticket at the above mentioned places. Only limited seats are available it seems and all other terms and conditions apply as well.

Also GoAir is giving away a free gift voucher worth Rs. 1000 for the students who have scored 90% marks in their final examination. This gift voucher worth Rs. 1000 can be redeemed when you travel the next time at Go Air. But you will need to show your original mark sheet for the same. There is no minimum purchase limit mentioned for this particular gift voucher, do check with them before getting it for free.

This seems a different and notable offer targeting students and encouraging them to Fly Smart by Air rather than choosing train, which in fact is the most preferred mode of transport for many students to travel between Indian cities and states.

Fly and Save on Emirates to fly to Dubai

Emirates Airlines has announced one of the cheapest rates to fly to Dubai where you fly and return as well as get Visa to Dubai all inclusive of the charges mentioned as below by Emirates. This is said to be the cheapest among the whole lot of airlines that flies from India to Dubai. The cost includes return airfare as well as the Visa cost as well as all applicable tax. But remember the rates mentioned is from Chennai to Dubai and it may vary for other cities to Dubai, do check Emirates website for the same.

For the economy class you can fly to Dubai and return for just Rs. 18,572. For the Business Class you can go to Dubai and return for Rs. 47,997. While for the First Class it would be Rs. 76,465. As said above these rates includes return fares as well as the visa cost and all applicable taxes.
