World’s Best Low Cost Airline Air Asia

Air Asia which claims to be the world’s best low cost airline at the moment and indeed they seems to be the very low cost airline across other airlines at the moment. Airasia.com Airlines seem to be the lowest without any admin fee, no fuel surcharge airlines but with only fare and the airport tax. Their mantra seems to be Low Fares, no frills and they are indeed making it true with their truly unbelievable airlines tickets costs to major international destinations in Asia like Malaysia and other Southeast Asian and Asian, European and Australian destinations, including around 18 countries and 70 destinations.

Here is a mini Air Asia Review for you to benefit from it.

You can get airlines tickets for even below Rs. 3000 inclusive of all charges to fly to Southeastern destination which when compared to other airlines fares is really a fractional amount and is truly a great savings for all those who avail their service. This rate is applicable only if you book their tickets online at www.airasia.com and available on the destinations in which Airasia.com operates like Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, Australia, London, Kaula Lumpur, and more.

For example during January 27, 2010 to January 31, 2010 you can fly between Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi or Mumbai to Kaula Lumpur and Penang for just Rs. 2999 only. Similarly you can fly to Trivandrum to Kaula Lumpur for just Rs. 1990 if booked between January 18 to January 31, 2010. And Kolkata or Kochi to Kaula Lumpur is just Rs. 2490. The bare minimum fare starts from Rs. 421 which is in fact the lowest fare even when compared with the lowest domestic flights in India. You can book now and can travel between June 22, 2010 to September 30, 2010.

They also have acquired some of the brand new Airbus like Airbus 320 for short haul flights and Airbus 330 and Airbus 340 for long-haul flights.

Their other specialty is their self check-in option which you can do it online 48 hours before you actually fly.

They have also introduced a new service which they claim as brand new beginning airasiago.com where you can book both air tickets as well as hotel and tours at the same time. Check more details about Air Asia Airlines here.

With all these benefits and low fares, it is indeed true that AirAsia.com is the lowest cost airline, probably in the whole world and they are best as well.

IRCTC to sell Airline Tickets soon

It is learnt that IRCTC, India’s top online shopping or transaction website, which is a subsidiary of Indian Railways is planning to launch airline ticket bookings as well. We all know that IRCTC attracts huge amount of traffic for train tickets and this additional service air tickets bookings will only make it even more attractive and more powerful in terms of customer base and transactions.

Now we can just book both train tickets as well as airline tickets at one place rather than moving around different websites and services to get them. It is worth waiting to see whether IRCTC is going to come up with some better offers for airline ticket bookings as well as on what airlines are it going to target, whether all the private players like Kingfisher, Jet Airways, GoIndigo, Deccan, GoAir, Paramount, SpiceJet will also be included in their ticket booking system or whether they are only going to target only Air India tickets, i.e., the Indian Government owned airlines service.

Anyway, it would be better if they improve their customer service as well since they are going to cater to the need of a more range of people. It is indeed a long way that IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has come from being a catering service to the Indian Railways to become the top most online portal in India.
